🚨 It is terrible to see how an attacker stabbed passenger Iryna Zarutska, but even more terrible is watching how the other passengers stood up and walked away, leaving her to die in loneliness, without assistance, without even a human gesture. 😢
👉 Violence kills, but so does indifference.
👉 After stabbing Iryna, the killer left, and the five people who were there did nothing — they didn’t help her, they didn’t call emergency services or the police, they simply walked away.😢
👉This shows a deep failure of empathy and civic responsibility. In situations like this, early intervention —even something as basic as calling for help— can make the difference between life and death.
👉 Abandoning someone in need is not only immoral, but in many countries it also has legal consequences under the “duty to assist.”
👉 Not committing, looking the other way, makes you an accomplice.
👉 Society needs to recover empathy, solidarity, and the courage to act in the face of horror.
👉 No life should fade away like this, in the middle of collective indifference.
